The melt filter cartridge for chemical fiber applications (also known as sintered filter cartridge) is mainly made of stainless steel woven mesh and stainless steel fiber sintered felt. The woven mesh is made from stainless steel wire with smooth channels, high temperature and corrosion resistance, no wire shedding, long filtration cycles, and easy cleaning. The stainless steel fiber sintered felt is made by high-temperature sintering into a porous deep filter medium, offering high porosity, good air permeability, strong dirt-holding capacity, and regenerability. This filter uses a pleated design, offering 5–10 times more filtration area than standard cylindrical filters, with a filtration range from 1 to 300 μm. It can be cleaned and reused repeatedly, with service life ≥1 year in chemical environments and ≥2 years in water treatment (with proper maintenance). It is especially suitable for polymer melt filtration, oil-water separation, high-temperature gas, and pharmaceutical liquid filtration.
