The marine ballast water filter cartridge is a standard structure sintered mesh filter cartridge, made by stacking five layers of stainless steel wire mesh in a specific order and sintering them in a vacuum furnace. The structure consists of a framework layer, filtration control layer, dispersion layer, protective layer, and support layer. It is mainly used in ballast water treatment systems on ships to filter discharged ballast water, removing organisms and impurities larger than 30 μm, thus preventing the entry of harmful organisms into the ballast tank. Filtration accuracy and size can be customized according to customer requirements, with manufacturing materials available in 316L, 904L, 2205, 2507 stainless steel.
